(xxviii) + 580pp. Blue textured papered boards gilt-lettered on spine & front board with coloured artwork inset into front board. Generously illustrated with color & b/w photoraphs and diagrams. Two transparent overlays ("Anthropomorphic Grids" and "Perimeter Grids") loosely inserted, and four fold-out colour charts. Vol. II of this major study of iridology (iridodiagnosis or iridiagnosis) - the system of alternative medicine that posits that a diagnosis can be made based on reading the markings or signs in the iris of the patient. The author, Bernard Jensen (1908 - 2001) was an iridologist and chiropractor who wrote widely on alternative medicine and healing and was widely regarded as the most accomplished iridologist in the United States. A few light bruises to the top edge of the front board, and three faint marks on the board itself, top edge of rear board bumped causing the faintest of ripples to the top corner of the last page of the text block. Still, internally, and for the most part externally, like new, thus VG+ condition (no dust jacket issued). A lovely copy, COMPLETE with all fold-outs and inserts.
