The first UK edition of this work in which the author explores symbolism through "Classical Mythology, the Old Testament; The New Testament, Christian Angelolgy, the Qabalah, the Tarot, the Koran, the Elements, the Planets, the Zodiac, etc." The author, William Bernard Crow (1895 - 1976), a scholar and practitioner of the occult arts, who was well acquainted with Aleister Crowley, and quite involved with Crowley's Gnostic Catholic Church (Ecclesia Gnostica Catholica) towards the end of the Beast's life. Just a hint of shelfwear, owner's inkstamped name on front pastedown (under dust jacket) - overall a tight, clean VG+ copy in Good + dust jacket (Dust jacket is a bit rubbed and creased at edges, long closed tear on upper panel at spine edge, price clipped.
