The Tarot for Today. Being Notes Relative To The Twenty-Two Paths Of The Tree Of Life and The Tarot Trumps Together With A New Way Of Approach To This Ancient Symbol, More Suited To The Present Aquarian Age, And Entitled The Horus Arrangement.

London: The Zeus Press, 1963. First edition. Hardcover. Octavo. 256pp. Blue cloth with gilt titling to spine, b&w frontis, summary, appendices, index, b&w illustrations. A serious study of the tarot as occult tool. Mary K. Greer described the book as "a study of Crowley’s material in the 'Book of Thoth'" (which at the time of publication was impossible to locate) although at a superficial glance the Crowley connection is not immediately obvious. Light overall shelf wear, a few faint marks to cloth on rear board, page edges unevenly darkened, London bookshop label on front blank, pages lightly toned but clean and unmarked. Overall a tight, clean VG+ copy in VG+ dust jacket (dust jacket is just lightly rubbed at edges, not clipped. Now in mylar cover.). Item #68813
