The author, Thomas Charles Lethbridge ( 1901-1971 ) was a well-known British writer, archaeologist and psychical researcher, who was committed to investigating occult subjects, such as dowsing, ghosts, witchcraft, etc - in a scientific manner. In this volume Lethbridge presents a new argument in favor of the survival of the human mind after bodily death. Just a hint of shelfwear, light bruising to corners and spine ends, pages lightly toned, owner's name in pen on front blank, light crease to upper text pages at upper corner. Overall a tight, clean VG+ copy in VG dust jacket (Dust jacket a bit rubbed, edges chafed with some creasing and light chipping, not clipped. Now in mylar cover). Item #68822
