Hereward Carrington (1880-1958), was one of the best-known of the British psychical researchers, and wrote many significant works on the subjects of psychical research and spiritualism. In this volume Carrington outlines the current current state of research into Spiritualism in the early years of the twentieth century. Cloth lightly rubbed and faded overall, edges - corners and spine ends a bit chafed with a few light bumps, spine faded with shadow from a label near the tail. Page edges darkened, owner's name on front blank, large contemporary owner's name and address across half title page, text pages a bit browned but clean & unmarked.
