A Samuel Weiser reprint edition, with additional matter, of a series of articles on the Comte de St. Germain that were originally printed in the "Theosophical Review,' in 1887. They were first published in book form in Milan in 1912 in a tiny edition that soon went out of print, and then reissued by the Theosophical Publishing House in 1927. As far as we can determine this is the First US edition, reprinted from that 1927 London edition. The author, Isabel Cooper-Oakley, was a prominent Theosophist. Paper lightly browned, otherwise a tight clean Near fine copy in VG+ dust jacket. (Dust jacket spine darkened, rubbed and lightly chipped at spine ends, edges and corners, a few short edge tears and chips, not clipped. Now in protective mylar cover). Item #68897
