First published in 1931, this is an attractive hardcover reprint edition of this record of the travels of the Chinese Taoist doctor and alchemist Ch'Ang-Ch'Un (Qiu Changchun - 1148-1227) by his disciple Li Chih-Ch'Ang (Li, Zhichang,1193-1256). The book gives an extraordinary glimpse of Central Asia and the Mongol empire, its life and customs, at the time of Ghengis Khan, but next to nothing on alchemy.
