A modern hardcover edition, with introduction by Clifford Bax, of what is arguably one of the first major works on 'spiritual alchemy', in which the transmutation of metal is given as a metaphor for the reinstatement of Man into a state of spiritual Grace. "The Signature of All Things" is considered to be one of Boehme's most significant works, and is said to have had a profound effect on early Rosicrucian thought. This edition includes Boehme's "A Supersensual Life" and another short work - each with an individual title page. Boards a bit rubbed, darkened and lightly discoloured - more so on spine, light bumps to spine ends and lower corners, top edge darkened & foxed, bookplate on front pastedown, ink stamped flower on front blank, name in ink on title page, else a tight, unmarked VG copy.
