The second impression of the Weiser facsimile of the 1930 first edition. "The Training and Work of an Initiate" gives details "of the preparation for and degrees of true esoteric initiation, together with a description of the work to be performed and the training to be undergone by the candidate for the Higher Mysteries." The book is complete and independent in itself although it was also designed to complement the author's earlier "The Esoteric Orders and Their Work." According to the author, writing in her Foreword, "The two books, taken together, cover the whole field of initiation upon the Right-hand Path of the Western Tradition." Cloth lightly rubbed and very slightly darkened, small black spot at mid-spine, light bruising to spine ends, bookshop label on front pastedown. One page (p.23) has five lines marked with green "highlighter." Otherwise a tight clean VG copy in VG+ dust jacket (Dust jacket just has a little light shelf-wear, a bookshop label on the rear panel and is price clipped. Now in protective mylar cover).
