"Muhammad at Mecca": x + 272pp, tables, glossary and index; "Muhammad at Medina": xiv + 418pp. Original publisher's dark cloth, gilt lettered spine, index. Matching reprint editions of these two volumes which together comprise Watt's comprehensive biography of the Islamic prophet Muhammad and are still considered to be classics in the field. "Muhammad at Mecca" examines the first part of his life, while "Muhammad at Medina" follows through with his remaining years. Just a hint of light wear, page edges slightly darkened and pages lightly toned, clean and unmarked. Volume I has a few white spots to lower edge of upper board, and owner's name to upper blank endpaper. Else both volumes are tight and unmarked VG+ copies else a tight, unmarked VG+ copies in VG dust jackets. (Dust jackets are just a bit darkened overall, chafed at edges and points, not clipped.
