The text of two lectures delivered by hall in Los Angeles in 1962 and 1956 respectively. They were first published in 1965, this second printing appeared in 1974. Manly Palmer Hall (1901 - 1990), was of course the Canadian-born occultist, mystic and author best known for his "The Secret Teaching of All Ages." Hall gathered together a world renowned collection of books and manuscripts on alchemy, mysticism, the occult, etc. which became part of the library of the Philosophical Research Society which he founded in 1934. Very light shelfwear, covers a bit darkened at edges, neatly written faint owner's name on title-page. Overall a tight, clean VG+ copy. Item #69624
