Manly Palmer Hall (1901 - 1990), was of course the Canadian-born occultist, mystic and author best known for his "The Secret Teaching of All Ages." Hall gathered together a world renowned collection of books and manuscripts on alchemy, mysticism, the occult, etc. which became part of the library of the Philosophical Research Society which he founded in 1934. Covers a little dusty, sharp bump at base of spine has left a tiny tear to the wrapper and a little creasing to the extreme inner corner of the bottom margin of the text-block, otherwise a tight, clean VG+ copy.
