Hubbard (June 19, 1856 – May 7, 1915) was an American writer, publisher, artist, and philosopher. Hubbard met early success as a traveling salesman with the Larkin soap company. Today he is mostly known as the founder of the Roycroft artisan community in East Aurora, New York, an influential exponent of the Arts and Crafts Movement, as well as the author of his 9 volume "Little Journeys to the Homes of the Great". This copy from the library of occult scholar Martin Starr, with his ownership name along with his personal "sticky note. Just a hint of rubbing and fading to cloth, light bruising and chafing to spine ends and corners, fore and bottom edges darkened otherwise clean internally. Overall a VG+ copy in VG dust jacket ( dust jacket spine is faded, edges lightly rubbed, not clipped. Now in protective mylar cover.). Item #69640
