A double issue of the journal of the The Bacon Society of America which was founded in New York City in 1922 evidently with the intention of proving that Francis Bacon and William Shakespeare were one and the same. This issue features: "The Shakespearean Myth 50 Years After" and includes various references to Bacon's Rosicrucianism. Covers darkened and discoloured, edges chafed and creased with some light chipping and short tears, page edges darkened and thumbed, pages browned but unmarked.
