Occult Astrology.
London: Modern Astrology, (ND - Ca. 1930s). First Edition (?). Hardcover, Octavo, 226 pp, Original dark blue cloth with gilt titling to spine. An uncommon work by Major C. G. M. Adam, who apparently made a life-time study of astrology, contributing numerous articles to astrological journals, and for a time working as the editor of "Modern Astrology." He also wrote: "Fresh Sidelights on Astrology: An Elementary Treatise on Occultism." Approximately 3/4 of the present work is devoted to natal astrology, with one quarter devoted to mundance astrology. Of the author, the publisher wrote: "His comments onf astrological matters are always interesting, and though here and there somewhat unorthodox his views are bound to stimulate thought." Edges of boards very lightly rubbed, a hint of pale flecking to endpapers and adjacent leaves, edges dusty. Still a tight, clean VG+ copy in a VG example of the very scarce dust jacket (the soft paper dust jacket has some small chips tears, and creases at the edges, but is 98% complete, bright and clean.
