Item #69891 Conscious Living. Thaynne de Baun WESTFALL, Mah-Atman-Amsumata.
Conscious Living.

Conscious Living.

Boston, MA: Christopher Publishing House, 1956. First Edition. Reflections directed to "the aspirant whou would consciously scale the initiatory pathway to cosmic understanding." The short Introduction is by Mah-Atman-Amsumata (Norman R. Westfall), a long-time member of the "I AM" movement, who prior to that had been involved with Theosophy, the Universal Brotherhood etc. Amsumata claimed to have undergone spiritual experiences at Mt. Shasta and considered hiimself in contact with Saint Germain, Koot Hoomi and other Ascended Masters who called on him to spread their teachings in preparation of the arrival of a new "World Teacher." Unfortunately nothing seems to be known of the author of this work Thaynne de Baun Westfall, but given that he has the same surname as the "conventional" name of Mah-Atman-Amsumata, it seems not unreasonalbe to speculate that it may be another pseudonym of the same person. The corners of the boards are lightly bruised and rubbed, there is some pale discoloration to the covers, and the spine is a little darkened. Endpapers evenly toned, one or two light marks of handling to the pages. Still overall a tight, clean, VG or better copy of a very uncommon work. No dust jacket (none issued?). Item #69891
