A volume from the Secret Doctrine Reference Series which reprints works which were important to Mme. Blavatsky, and upon which she relied or quoted heavily from when writing "The Secret Doctrine." This is a facsimile reprint of the revised 1883 edition of this then-recently rediscovered pseudepigraphic work, with an added index. The work is popularly attributed to Enoch, the great-grandfather of Noah. It found particular favor amongst occultists, especially on account of its focus on the hierarchies of angels etc. A solid but used copy. "Sticker ghost" on front cover, boards lightly worn, small owner's note on front free endpaper and erasure mark on front pastedown, endpapers a little darkened.
