Original patterned blue/black cloth with gilt titling etc. to spine and front cover, blind stamped borders to both boards. Patterned endpapers. Index. B/w illustrations. A dual volume comprising Wilde and Dodson's "Treatise on Natal Astrology" followed by a "revised and extended" version of A. G. Trent's thirty page astrological essay "The Soul and the Stars" (a work originally published in the "University Magazine" of March 1880. Cloth rubbed through at points of boards and gently bruised, otherwise binding is tight and clean, endpaper hinges cracking but holding firm, owner's name on front free endpaper, edges darkened, a little shaken, pages thumbed, toned and darkened in places, occasional pencil and pen annotations. Overall a solid, about VG copy. Item #69907
