Original green cloth w/ gilt title etc., beautifully and profusely illustrated, fold-outs, patterned endpapers. The first edition of this standard work on the subject of Sacred Geometry - now hard-to-find and sought-after. A previous owner put the dust jackets in protective mylar sleeves, but unfortunately glued the mylar sleeves to the patterned endpapers with a vertical line of glue under the flaps. When at some stage the jackets were removed, the surface of the paper where the glue had adhered to the plastic sleeve-cover, came with it, leaving a long ragged line where the patterning had transferred to the back of the cover. Fortunately this damage is hidden by the endpaper flaps, so is only noticeable if the jackets are removed. Were it not for the surface damage to the endpapers, this would rate as a lovely tight and clean VG+ set in near-fine dust jackets (as often, the set lacks the flimsy printed cardboard slip case in which they were originally issued).
