The 3rd printing of the Centenary Anniversary Edition which was first published in 1931 The text is thus a facsimile reproduction of the original 1877 edition of this important work by Blavatsky. Her first major publication, it not only became one of the foundation stones of Theosophy, but was highly influential on the Western esoteric and magical traditions in general, with Aleister Crowley even going so far as to identify Blavatsky as a fellow Master of the Temple in one of his essay's. A hint of shelf-wear, edges of text block a little darkened and lightly foxed, pages bright and unmarked. Overall a tight, umarked VG+ copy VG+ dust jacket. (Dust jacket is lightly rubbed at edges, spine slightly faded, 1" closed tear at lower edge of front panel, not price-clipped. Now protected by removable mylar sleeve).
