Original green publisher's cloth, gilt titling to spine, blind borders on both covers. An unusual work on Freemasonry first published in 1831 under the pseudonym (?) Avery Allyn. Includes line illustrations of the various rituals, followed by chapters on all degrees and the rituals associated with them. The text concludes with an essay on the Phi Beta Kappa.
