A very cheaply produced reprint of the Fourth edition of this well known study of the Rosicrucians by Hargrave Jennings ( (1817-1890) a British Freemason, Rosicrucian, and student of comparative religion, who was best known for his writing on the subject of phallism (phallicism) and its place in the origin of all religions. Includes the Prefaces for the First, Second and Third editions. Very basic production standards (about fanzine level), generally shabby, corners dog-eared, edges and covers soilded, still a solid & serviceable reference copy. Item #70012
