Originally published in Latin in 1678, "The Hermetic Museum" was intended as a representative collection of the significant works of alchemy, many of which were rare even then. The translation was prepared for Lord Stafford by an unidentified alchemical scholar and was revised and edited by Waite. It was first published in an edition of 250 copies in 1893 by James Elliott & Co. This is the first paperback edition. Old "new" stock.
