This second Trident Press edition was produced in limited paperback, cloth, and leather editions, this being the cloth issue with cloth spine and parchment covered boards. Bound by craft bindery Ars Obscura. The text is from the 1657 English edition. The grimoire itself apparently dates from the thirteenth century and is one of the core texts of "Solomonic magick." It basically sets out a magical ritual, with orations and words of power, whose recitation is said not only to lead to mystic unity, but to bestow all manner of knowledge and other earthly boons. Just a hint of shelf rubbing and a few very light marks to boards, else a tight, bright and unmarked near Fine condition (no dust jacket issued.). Item #70044
