James Lewis Thomas Chalmers Spence (1874 - 1955), was a Scottish journalist, folklorist, and author of a number of works on the occult and folk-lore. In this volume he argues for the existence of the remnants of Atlantean culture on the American continent based upon the presence of common culture-complex traditions including mummification, witchcraft and certain art forms and other distinctive customs. Cloth generally a bit rubbed, more noticably at folds and edges, a few bumps to the edges and a little fraying to the points. A little darkened in places.
