Stated first printing of this selection of Reich's writings, conceived as an introduction to Orgonomy, presented without editorial comment. Wilhelm Reich (1897-1957), Austrian-born psychoanalyst and author, who was known for his unorthodox sex and energy theories; and who died in a US federal penitentiary, where he was serving a two-year prison term for distributing his invention, the "orgone energy accumulator". Cloth a bit faded at edges, light bruising to spine ends and corners, page edges quite darkened, pages toned but unmarked, bookplate on front pastedown (covered by jacket flap). Overall a tight unmarked VG+ copy in VG dust jacket (Dust jacket lightly rubbed overall, edges lightly creased with a few tiny chips, spine ends chafed and lightly chipped & creased, not clipped).
