The text - in facsimile format - with English translation of two previously unpublished Norwegian manuscript "black books", that is collections of "cures, advice, prayers, and incantations" which are in many ways reminsicent of the German/American "PowWow" books or the French "books of secrets" like the "Petit Albert."
