White covers with green titling and "wizard" illustration on front cover. A reprint of this popular collection of spells / descriptions of types of spells, drawn from a wide variety of sources: grimoires, voodoo, witchcraft, white & black magic, ceremonial magic, etc. First published thus in 1968. While the book obviously had many printings, it is surprisingly uncommon as it was not solidly bound, and over the decades the glue dried and copies tended to fall apart. This copy remains tight and firm, but it is obvious that it needs to be treated with care if it is to stay that way. Covers lightly rubbed with a few dark spots, spine a bit darkened, all edges and points are lightly chafed. Overall a tight, clean and unmarked VG+ copy and unusual thus. Item #70554
