A Large Wooden Box Containing a Variety of Implements and Objects Used in Magickal Ritual.

[ Finland ]: [ Ixaxaar Occult Literature ], ND (ca. 2010). The box measures approx. 14 3/8 inch long x 9 inches across, by 4 1/2 inches high. It is made of a very dark, distressed, timber, and is divided into two compartments by a timber insert. The the lid is secured by brass (?) hinges at the rear and a brass (?) catch at the front. Unfortunately we know nothing of it's origin, except that it seems to have been produced by Ixaxaar and most likely dates between 2000CE and 2015CE, and was almost sold as it is - ie as a ready made magician's kit. It contains four fist-sized bundles, wrapped in grey paper, a single 3 1/2 x 3 1/2 x 1 1/4 inch cardboad box, a small hand-made paper envelope containing some sort of dried flower, two seemingly hand-made blank notebooks and a feather! The cardboard box contains an envelope housing some blackthorns, a small apparently real dead scorpion (in a plastic bag), an animal tooth or claw on a string necklace, three vials containing respectively: snake powder, henbane seeds, and datura seeds, and two objects that aren't readily identifiable to us. We partially opened one of the four fist-sized bundles, and it constains three four-inch high bottles with various tinctures (we didn't unpack them fully and though they are labelled we couldn't read them without removing more of the packing, which we didn't want to do). At least one of the other bundles seems to also contain three bottles, and we don't know about the contents of the other two. These last two bundles are each closed with a printed paper seal that appears to be that of Ixaxaar, so we assume that the set was one of their productions, although we could find no reference to it anywhere. Given that some of the tinctures may be toxic, we are not offering this set for sale to anyone under 18 years of age, and given the nature of the contents it is offered not subject to return. We also cannot ship outside the United States due to potential customs issues. Overall in Fine condition. Obviously unused. As it is not a book our regular postage options will not apply - shipping will be charged at cost depending upon destination. Item #70585
