An uncommon paperback edition of Crowley's master work on the Thoth Tarot. According to the publisher's notice on the rear cover, this is the first time that "The Book of Thoth" was published in paperback form. This is probably true, as the Lancer edition is thought to date from 1972, and although Samuel Weiser & the Kashmarin Press both reprinted the work in hardcover in 1969, the now ubiquitous blue-covered Weiser softcover did not appear until 1974. Uncommonly good condition for this edition. Covers just a bit darkened with light overall shelfwear, upper corner of rear corner and last few pages are lightly creased, page edges darkened, pages a bit browned (as common), no markings thus a tight, clean VG+ copy.
