A Handwritten and Drawn Astrological Natal Chart, for Bernard Hambly Prepared by Aleister Crowley.
NP, 1943. A single sheet of 8 x 6 inch thick (mould-made?) white note-paper with Crowley's “Mark of the Beast” printed in red at the head if the page. On it a very neatly drawn holograph natal chart for Bernard Hambly born at Plymouth, England 19-OCT-1911 comprising a grid and astrological symbols etc. and progressed elements for July 1943 in black ink in Crowley's handwriting on the recto (the verso is blank). Further research needs to be done into Hambly - there appear to be only two very cryptic references to him in Crowley's diaries: one, for Mon. 12 July (1943 ev) reads "Dictated horrors. M. ... S. Hambly. She never came!" and the other Friday 16 July reads "Dictated horror of Hambly." Given both are dated July 1943, ev, they must surely relate to the same Hambly, but clearly there is more of this story to be uncovered. Guaranteed genuine (as are all items sold by us) and with a Certificate of Authenticity. Light crease across the centre from having been folded, rust mark from paper-clip at head of page (more visible on verso). Bright clean and VG+ condition. Item #70969
