A single-sided 17 x 11 inches poster, text printed in black within a decorative border on a sheet of red coloured paper, advertising "The Hounuculus Club," c/o Brocken Mountain Lodge of the Ordo Templi Orientis, New Haven, Connecticut. J. Edward Cornelius was chartered to run "The Frater Achad Chapter" of the O.T.O. in Connecticut by Grady Louis McMurtry (Hymenaus Alpha, Caliph of the O.T.O.) in 1977, and a few years later the group was elevated to Lodge status as "Brocken Mountain Lodge" with Cornelius as Lodge Master. The "Homunculus Club" was clearly designed to draw people interested in Crowley and initiation to the Lodge. The text reads: "Do you know who Aleister Crowley is? Are you tired of magical fraternities whose studies border on amateur status and who stifle your creativity? Have you heard of Magick with a K? Do you desire a unique short cut to initiations? With absolutely no restrictions except what you place upon yourself! Then possibly we're what you're looking for ... Send S.A.S.E to The Homunculus Club c/o Ordo Templi Orientis ...[postal address].
