A biography of novelist Dennis Wheatley, with many references to the various characters from the occult fringe that he met over the years: including Rollo Ahmed, Aleister Crowley, and Montague Summers. Invitation to a launch gathering for the book at Treadwell's in London is loosely inserted, along with a copy of the publisher's catalogue which includes this title showcased on the front cover. Page edges a little darkened, otherwise a pristine near Fine copy in very lightly rubbed near Fine dust jacket. (Dust jacket now protected by a removable mylar cover). Item #71759
