A new edition of this landmark work in the dissemination of Thelemic thought, which commences with a 2 page essay "Thelema in the 90's" by Lon Milo Duquette and Christopher Hyatt. Like the earlier editions it includes both Crowley's "old" and "new" comments, the "Tunis Comment," and a facsimile of the manuscript ("Liber XXXI") of "The Book of the Law," as well as Israel Regardie's Introduction which was omitted from some later editions and an Appendix. "The Law if for All" was arguably the first book to present Crowley's thoughts on "The Book of the Law," to a broad modern audience, being more widely available than the "Magical and Philosophical Commentaries on the Book of the Law" which was published in 1974 or Motta's "The Commentaries of AL" which was published in 1975. From the collection of Clive Harper with his discrete book-label neatly tipped in at the rear. Harper is well-known as the bibliographer of Austin Osman Spare, for updating the Aleister Crowley bibliography in the 2011 Teitan Press collection of Gerald Yorke's writings, and as someone who has lent his expertise to numerous other publications. A tight, clean, near-Fine copy. Item #71907
