Large octavo. xvi + 252pp. Red covers with black titling and gold OTO Lamen on front cover, appendices, index. This copy SIGNED by Editor, Stephen Skinner on the title page. These deeply introspective diaries start with Crowley's arrival in Tunis following his expulsion by Mussolini from his abbey of Thelema in Cefalu in Sicily. In addition to more mundane matters they record his continuing investigations into the Kabbalah, the I Ching, and sex magick, as well as his exploration of local magical practices. From the collection of Clive Harper with his discreet book-label neatly tipped in at the rear. Harper is well- known as the bibliographer of Austin Osman Spare, for updating the Aleister Crowley bibliography in the 2011 Teitan Press collection of Gerald Yorke's writings, and as someone who has lent his expertise to numerous other publications. A bit of ordinary shelf-wear and signs of use. Edges and points a bit bruised and chafed, page edges a little darkened, pages lightly toned but clean and unmarked. Atlantis Bookshop label on lower edge of title page and also on rear cover. Overall a tight, clean VG copy. Item #71909
