Chicago IL: The Teitan Press, 1991. Facsimile edition. Hardcover. Octavo. 138pp. Quarter red cloth with white papered boards, gilt title, etc. to spine, red Arabic script across front cover. A facsimile reprint of one of Crowley's scarcest works - part homo-erotic parody, part mystical text. With an Introduction by Crowley scholar Martin P. Starr. This copy INSCRIBED and SIGNED by the editor Martin P. Starr to Clive Harper on the blank facing the title-page dated September,1995. Thus from the collection of Clive Harper with his discreet book-label neatly tipped in at the rear. Harper is well- known as the bibliographer of Austin Osman Spare, for updating the Aleister Crowley bibliography in the 2011 Teitan Press collection of Gerald Yorke's writings, and as someone who has lent his expertise to numerous other publications. This copy includes a fold out advertising brochure of Teitan Press titles that were available at that time. Book has just a hint of shelf wear, thus a lovely, clean near Fine copy (no dust jacket was issued but this copy has been given a transparent mylar cover which has protected the very light colored binding well).
