(vi) (28 leaf colour facsimile - illustrations on rectos only), (ii) 11-25pp text by Plowman (i). Red cloth with gilt lettering to upper cover and spine, full page color plates. A reduced format colour facsimile of Blake's major prophetic book "The First Book of Urizen" (title later abbreviated by Blake simply to "The Book of Urizen" followed by explanatory text by Dorothy Plowman. Reproduced in facsimile from an original copy of the work printed and illuminated by the author in 1794, formerly in the possession of the late Baron Dimsdale. Just a bit of light shelfwear, corners and spine ends bruised and lightly chafed, a little shaken, small tear at gutter of one leaf towards the end, pages toned, owner's name on front blank, no other marks. Overall a tight clean VG+ copy in a Good example of the scarce dust jacket (Dust jacket is a bit darkened at spine and folds, all edges and extremities quite chipped and creased, particularly at corners and spine ends, now in removable mylar cover.).
