A narrative of two journeys undertaken in markedly different parts of Tibet; the first through the barren northern regions of Central Tibet, and the second "the Gartok expedition": Shigatse, Manasarowar, Gyantse, etc. Cloth flecked - especially at edges, head and tail of spine chafed, edges rubbed, corners bumped and rubbed, a trifle shaken, very light foxing to endpapers and map, and short tear to top right hand corner of map, otherwise contents are bright and unmarked.
