A milestone work in Gnostic studies - the first anthology to bring together most of the then known works of Graeco-Roman Gnostic literature, including The Gospel of Truth, The Secret Book of John, and the Gospel of Mary. Edges of cloth very slightly faded, light rubbing to spine ends and corners, page edges a little dusty. Pencil ticks (easily erased) to contents leaves, otherwise a tight and clean VG+ copy in VG dust jacket. (Dust jacket chafed at extremities with some small tears and chips). Item #33381
