An introductory study of alchemy by Adam McLean - renowned as the publisher of the "Magnum Opus Hermetic Sourceworks" series and numerous other researches into alchemy. This is an unusual eary work by McLean, published him in the same year that he first began to issue "The Hermetic Journal." Wrappers quite darkened at margins and spine, lightly rubbed, pages uniformly browned, internally clean. A VG or better copy of a rare and fragile work. This copy is (unusually) intact, but one gets the definite feeling that if one were to open it flat the glue would crack and it would she pages. Probably one reason why copies are so seldom seen.
