Item #51882 The Key to Speculation on the New York Stock Exchange. Inscribed, signed to Eddie Kahn.

The Key to Speculation on the New York Stock Exchange.

San Antonio, TX: The Bear Publishers, 1979. First Edition. Hardcover. Octavo. xii + 280pp. Blue boards lettered in gilt on spine. B/w diagrams. This copy has been inscribed and signed by the author on the front endpaper "To my friend Eddie Kahn, Looking forward to our new venture. Astrologically, Jack Gillen". Presumably "Eddie Kahn" is Eddie Ray Kahn, tax protester and founder of "American Rights Litigators" who ran the for-profit businesses "Guiding Light of God Ministries" and "Eddie Kahn and Associates". According to the U.S. Justice Department, all three organizations are or were illegal tax evasion operations and Kahn has been incarcerated since 2008 for tax fraud. In this first edition of "The Key to Speculation on the New York Stock Exchange", Gillen examines the New York Stock Exchange in light of astrological research and identifies the planetary cycles that drive the market, resulting in on-target predictions in stock market trends. He also outlines the astrological basics used in analyzing corporate charts and in making Dow-Jones predictions, and explains the importance of sensitive degrees of the Sun and Moon. During his career as an astrologer, Jack Gillen wrote 48 books and countless articles and other publications in addition to hosting both a national television and a national radio show and was the first to present computer software on a hand-held computer as a tool for seminars on horse and greyhound racing, sports, commodities, stocks and lotteries. Boards a bit darkened with a few small scattered marks to boards, spine ends and corners a bit chafed, slight toning to page-edges & endpapers, else a tight, internally-clean better than VG copy (no dust jacket). Interesting association. Item #51882
