London: Kegan Paul, Trench, Trubner & Co., 1918. First Edition. Hardcover. Octavo. vi + 114pp. Original brown cloth, gilt-lettered on spine. A scarce volume on "Telergy", a term actually coined by F.W.H. Myers, referring to the "hypothetical force or mode of action concerned with the conveyance of telepathic impressions and other super-normal operation." This volume is described by the author as "mainly a synopsis" of his earlier work entitled: "Personality and Telepathy" published in 1911. From the collection of Dr. M. H. Coleman, with his blind-stamped personal seal on the front free endpaper. Cloth lightly rubbed overall, bumps and light chafing to corners and spine ends, titling to spine is dulled, pages toned overall a browned at margins, otherwise a clean better than VG copy (no dust jacket). Scarce. Item #53360
