Frontispiece with tipped in tissue guard. A study of Babylonian beliefs, particularly relating to "Tehom and Tiamat," that have found their way into the Bible. Cloth at head and tail of spine chipped, small tear in cloth at bottom of front hinge, corners bruised and a little discoloration to boards. Two ink "ticks" in upper margin of title-page, and a little ink underlining to text. Still a solid, about VG copy of a scarce edition. Item #58989
