Item #60207 The Book of the Law [ Technically called Liber AL vel Legis Sub Figura CCXX as delivered by XCIII == 418 to DCLXVI ]. Aleister CROWLEY.

The Book of the Law [ Technically called Liber AL vel Legis Sub Figura CCXX as delivered by XCIII == 418 to DCLXVI ].

Mahwah N.J. (?): NP, 1998. First edition thus. Softcover. Octavo. (8.5 x 5.5 inches) 28pp. Cream stapled card covers, printed in black. Front wrapper has "LIBER / AL / VEL / LEGIS / SUB FIGURA / CCXX / AS DELIVERED BY / XCIII = 418 / TO / DCLXVI" within the typical Egyptian-style border, the back wrapper has a five line quote from Liber AL III:39. An odd version of "The Book of the Law" that was published completely anonymously except for what is presumably the place of publication ("Mahwah" - Mahwah, New Jersey?) and the year 1998. Curiously someone has actually gone to the effort to retype the whole text, rather than simply photocopying an earlier edition as is often the case. Page (1) is the title page with "THE BOOK OF THE LAW / [technically called / LIBER AL vel / LEGIS / SUB FIGURA / CCXX / AS DELIVERED BY / XCIII=418 / TO / DCLXVI]", page (2) has just the words "Mahwah, 1998" and pp. (3) - (37) reproduces the text of Liber CCXX, apparently following that of the (corrected) 1942 US Edition. Page (38) is blank. A little rubbed at edges, otherwise near-Fine. Item #60207
