Item #60479 [ The Book of the Law ] Liber AL vel Legis, sub Figura CCXX as delivered by XCIII=418 to DCLXVI. Aleister CROWLEY.

[ The Book of the Law ] Liber AL vel Legis, sub Figura CCXX as delivered by XCIII=418 to DCLXVI.

NP: NP, ND [ Circa 2000? ]. Softcover. Small octavo. (5.75 x 4 inches) 24pp. Stapled in red paper wrappers, printed in black (the whole probably produced with a photocopier and judicious folding). The front wrapper reproduces the title page, whilst the back wrapper has a facsimile of the classic "Liber Oz" design. The first page is the title page, with "LIBER / AL VEL / LEGIS / SUB FIGURA / CCXX / AS DELIVERED BY / XCIII = 418 / to DCLXVI " within the typical Egyptian-style border. The verso of the title page has the A.: A.: seal above "A.: A.: / Publication in Class A." The text is a typeset version (Liber CCXX) of "The Book of the Law" (only) which appears to have been taken directly from the (corrected) 1942 US Edition, although it does not include any of the supplementary matter. The publication is completely anonymous - there are no publication details at all - and it could have been printed anywhere at anytime in the last thirty years. Previously from the collection of English bibliophile and Aleister Crowley scholar Nicholas Bishop-Culpeper, with his book-label inside front cover. Edges lightly rubbed, light crease across bottom corner of front wrapper, otherwise near Fine condition. Item #60479
