A publisher's computer generated typescript, 9 x 11" pages bound on an "office-style" clip folder. A pre-publication review copy. It was originally sent to the late Robert North, best known for his editing of Paschal Beverly Randolp's "Sexual Magic" which was published by Magickal Childe of NYC. Loosely enclosed is a typed letter, signed, from Llewellyn's publicist to North asking him to review the book prior to its publication later the same year, and saying that "you do not need to send the manuscript [typescript] back to me but I do ask that you keep it to yourself." She also mentions that the author intends to go through the work again, so presumably this is a penultimate draft. The book itself is an overview of the principal founders and societies of the Western esoteric tradition. Light shelfwear otherwise near Fine condition. Item #61050
