In this volume Bates is suggesting the development of a "constitution" or laws to regulate the process of investigating the psychic realm in order to preserve it's richness. Bates also wrote 'Seen and Unseen" and "Do the Dead Depart?". From the collection of Dr. M. H. Coleman, though not marked as such. Cloth a bit rubbed and darkened overall - more so at spine, spine a little canted and spine ends chafed and bruised, page edges darkened, rear hinge slightly loose before final blank but holding well, pages clean and unmarked.
