Dr Maurice Doreal founded his Brotherhood of the White Temple in the 1930s, and wrote a number of books related to the teachings of his group but was best known for his "The Emerald Tablets of Thoth-The-Atlantean" which purports to be a translation of an ancient hermetic text. Covers worn, darkened and discolored with some creasing and edge-wear, spine cloth rubbed overall and fraying and chipped at lower end, a few pen marks outside text but mainly clean.
