An early printing of this "banned" book of the Bible by Robert Henry Charles (1855-1931). "The Book of Enoch" describes the fall of a band of angels and progresses through a series of heavenly visions and dreams. It is not included in standard editions of the Bible in English, but has long attracted the attention of mystics and is accepted into the canon of the Ethiopian Orthodox Church. Boards very lightly bowed, light bruising to spine ends and corners, page edges darkened, endpapers unevenly browned, text bright and unmarked. Overall a tight, clean VG+ copy.
