The Fun of the Fair is Crowley's reminiscences - in verse - of the bawdy spectacle of the great festival at Nijni Novgorod (Russia) he visited in 1913. Its first separate publication was in 1942 in an edition of 200 copies - this is a facsimile of that edition, published anonymously in England circa 1970. From the collection of English bibliophile and Aleister Crowley scholar Nicholas Bishop-Culpeper, with his book-label tipped in at the rear. Very light rubbing to edges else a tight, clean near Fine copy. Item #62469
